Horizons Theatre: theatre from a woman's perspective

Pumping Josey: Life and Death in Suburbia, written by Pamela Sherman and Caleen Sinnette Jennings, and performed by Pam Sherman, explored one woman’s experience as a wife and mother living in the suburbs while searching for her own dreams. The show featured the actress in 10 roles. Pumping Josey was directed by David Hilder.

Domestic Snakes, a mythological exploration of hair through movement, dance, mask and mime, was written and performed by actress and movement specialist Karin Abromaitis.

Communion, written by Kumani and Vanessa Thomas, explored women’s sensuality from Eve to Lady Justice to Janet Jackson. Actress Vanessa Thomas performed this one-woman show.

Portraits in Time featured cabaret singer Terri Allen in a musical journey through life, love . . . and lots of chocolate. Terri was backed up by musical director George Fulginiti-Shakar, vocalist Colette Williams, and bass player Matt Murray. Portraits in Time was directed by Erv Raible.
